Hancock County Animal Shelter will hold a stray dog for a minimum of 5 days to allow the owner time to reclaim the dog. After the 5-day stray hold expires, the dog will be available for adoption or rescue or humanely euthanized.
The shelter is open Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm and 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturdays.
