A visit to the museum will take you back in time to riverboats and family life atthe turn of the century and through Hancock County's rich history.

Squire Pate House

This home, built in 1822, was the scene of Abraham Lincoln's first trial in which he defended himself against charges of operating a ferry across the Ohio River without a license.
