City of Hawesville Shoe Drive Fundraiser

For the maintenance and preservation of Memory Gardens, Serenity Hills and St. Paul’s cemeteries.

The City of Hawesville is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser for gently worn men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and boots.  An organization called, Funds2orgs, will purchase these shoes and boots from us by the pound.  They  will then send these shoes to third world countries where those residents will recondition these shoes and sell them for a profit to help them start their own small business.

Anyone interested in donating their shoes and/or a donation can drop them off at the Hawesville City office located at 395 Main Street.

The Shoe Drive will end on December 15th, 2015.
